What Can You Expect
First time
Unlike many other skin treatments, the Aquapeel treatment can be performed at any time, as it does not require recovery time. Avoid using retinoids, exfoliants, and acids (such as glycolic acid) beforehand before undergoing this treatment.
Treatment
During an Aqua Peel treatment, a special device is used to cleanse and exfoliate the skin. The device has a suction function that is moved over the face to remove dead skin cells. The pores are deeply cleaned while the skin is simultaneously nourished with one of the peeling fluids.
Direct after
After the treatment, you will have a radiant and hydrated skin. You may experience a bit of redness, but it should go away quickly. Try to avoid using makeup for the rest of the day and minimize sun exposure (use SPF). After the treatment, you can resume your normal activities immediately, without worrying about redness or skin irritation.
After 4 to 6 weeks
With treatments every 4 to 6 weeks, you will notice a real difference. By exfoliating the skin approximately every 30 to 45 days, the new, healthy skin comes to the surface, revealing a brighter and more radiant complexion.
