A fractional laser is a skin-enhancing laser that treats the skin in a pattern of microscopically small dots. It creates microchannels in the skin while leaving the surrounding skin intact.
This initiates a controlled healing process in the skin, gradually making it firmer and smoother in the weeks that follow due to the production of new collagen. The intensity and the area we treat determine how much recovery you experience and how strong the effect is.
